Chillin

Just sitting here in Kentucky briefly watching a storm move through from the south. As I'm sitting there admiring some rain and thinking how wonderful it would be to see lightning just as some lightning strikes almost straight ahead on the horizon. I then sit and admire the applause that the rain is giving and think of the greatness that I have just witnessed. So much energy that is not entirely controlled and yet...it is.

Man, it truly has been a long time in writing. currently i am watching Texas - Ohio State in the fiesta bowl...dont disappoint horns. since my last posting i have become engaged, married, honeymooned, holidayed and moved into laura's house (*cough* im told its our house now). Things are good, still looking for a job, wondering where life will take me.

just so you know, i also got a new phone. the vx8100 or the HTC Titain (mogul or motorola 8525)...nice phone, i have my memory back.

pros: wi-fi, bluetooth, touch screen, phone and many more
cons: short battery life (lucky if it gets me a day and a half)

anyways, hope things are well, hopefully will post stuff on our website soon and keep yall updated here.

Crossings 2008

Hey guys, things are going great here in the state of Kentucky for the second summer in a row. We have finished our second week of camp. the staff is doing great, and it is always good to meet new people and to see how their talent and passion is displayed.

a cool thing from this past week is that i got to talk to some people in africa. Crossings ministries has a partnership with a school over there where a missions offering is taken at the end of the week of camp. all this money goes to provide school, clothes, and food for kids over there. i was just cool to get to talk to them and see that we are helping people halfway across the world. We had video and audio of the group, and it was cool that i got to be helping out in a little of the tech stuff and able to talk to them...makes my heart smile.

had some nice, i mean stinkin nice storms last night. couple guys and i went and watched the lightning. twas cool.

thanks for your prayers and thoughts, please continue to pray that God will change the hearts of the students that we minister to, that they will be safe, and that our hearts will be changed as well. truly i do think if a lot of you, and i hope that life is treating you well. hope to hear from yall sometime.
