This isn't a new religion or anything, but it is a great NAS! I have had this NAS for maybe a year and i love it. My DS211j is still not organized, or fully utilized, but hopefully some day it will get there.
The DS was easy to setup and even easy to update. I only purchased one hard drive of a two bay system, but I do like it. This past week, I finally convinced Laura that we needed that second HD to backup our data, so I am currently in the process of seeing if i can get it to where i can RAID it.
I tried expanding and adding a group, but it would always create a separate volume that would not allow it to be managed and changed to a RAID. Finally i decided to try to expand my current volume...we shall see.

Love and Respect
I cannot say that I thoroughly enjoyed this book, but i do think that there are a couple of things that i took away from this book.
i believe this book could have been shortened to about 50 pages and been just a relevant.
however, i do find myself referencing some of what it says every now and then.
it talks about men and women and their battles because of how they see things differently (obvious i know, but he explains some of the differences in the book). he talks about some ways to recognize unhealthy communication and a couple of ways to combat it.
i think that he touts his process way too much in the absurd amount of examples (which do show the diversity of problems that people work through). a cliff notes version would have been great.
thanks for the long read. and hopefully it will impact me for the positive, as well as those that i am around. i do have to admit, it was great getting to go through this book with a couple of great friends was definitely a bonus.
a great book on communication, one i do suggest reading, is crucial conversations

Last chance at freedom
Well, it has been nice, but the cats arrive today. We are still looking for a washer and dryer before we can call it home

Chapters 1 & 2
Love and respect. We got this book from a friends dad. A couple of swell fellas and I are going through it now, so I figured I could jot a little bit about it. This does not explicitly imply that Eggerichs is verbose, but 30+ pages can be summed up in the following:
Men and women communicate differently. A cycle of arguing occurs when there arises a discrepancy in this communication.
A man needs respect
A woman needs love

On Work and Play [Quote]
The master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his information and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence at whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he's always doing both." | ||||

Billy Coffey
On the devil's thoughts
"Because change hurts. Because change won't come until it hurts more to stay the same than it does to become something different. And that's where I win. People will endure a plain life even if they want something more, because a plain life is a painless one."
