man, just in a few weeks you can say i have arrived at this point. not too long ago things seemed a bit difficult. fears were abounding, friendship was still flighty. but i write to you having come through that. this summer has been a good one, and i will not say that it hadnt had its difficult points...but through it all God has been faithful. He has shown me a little more about myself and about others. i have seen some of my same qualities and characteristics come out here, and i have gotten to work with a great group of people, and see how God has worked in their lives and is continuing to work in their lives.
we have kids coming a little later today for our final stretch as a semi-full staff (some left on thursday morning, but just 5 people). some are anxious...but it should be promising. after that, everyone leaves on monday.
note to those that care.
a crew of 4-5 guys are going to be staying here for one week to help the camp go into non-summer mode...and i am one of them. the week after that there is a church group coming to use our facilities...and not for our bible study, which means they need some people to stay to help out there...guess who is going to do that too? i figured since i dont have anything i have to do...why not.
best wishes to you all here from kentucky. i would love to hear from you, so call, write, or send me a message.
